Certifications
Briois is IFS Food certified and guarantees the quality and safety of its products through the HACCP management system. The proper implementation of Quality procedures is monitored at every stage of production, with specific objectives set for each department.
IFS Food standard
This international standard, built around the general aspects of the food safety and quality management system, enables us to review our products and manufacturing processes in order to assess whether our processing activities can produce safe, authentic, quality food products in line with legal requirements and our specifications. It allows Briois to meet market’s growing demands for transparency and traceability, while enhancing the integrity of its products as part of a continuous improvement approach.
IFS Food Certification:
Each year, an evaluation is conducted at our production site to renew our certification, with an inspection specifically focused on the following aspects:
- Manufacturing processes
- Receipt, storage, and shipping areas
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including maintenance, hygiene, pest control, cleaning and disinfection activities
- Product development
- On-site laboratory
- Maintenance workshop
- Staff units and sanitary equipment
- Outdoor areas
Thanks to our commitment and investments in our quality approach, we have once again been rewarded with a higher level of certification, with a result of 96.23% in our 2024 assessment!
